The members of
the feminist action committee inform and educate the members
of the local section on the reality of women and the causes
close to their hearts. They are a resource and a helper for
all women members of the local.
In addition, committee members strive to identify and break
down barriers to encourage women to assert themselves,
consolidate their rights in the workplace and run for
elected office in the union and the community.
