The Elections Committee

The Elections Committee is made up of two members elected by the members of Local 956 at a membership meeting for a three-year term. They must organize and enforce the local and national union bylaws and procedures at every election of the local and its units.

The committee should:

1. Display the notice of nominations
2. Post the results of the nominations (and the election notice if necessary)
3. Ensure the smooth running of the elections
4. Display election results
